Terms of Use

Effective date: November 8, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and bloodflowing.com (“bloodflowing.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and govern your access to and use of the website at bloodflowing.com, the Circulation Research Digest email newsletter, and any related content or services (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is intended for adults. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. The Site is not directed to children under 13.

2. Educational information, not medical advice

The Site provides general educational summaries of published research. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using the Site does not create a doctor–patient or other professional relationship. Please read our full Medical Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms.

3. Permitted use

You may view, share links to, and print reasonable portions of the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

  • copy, republish, sell, or distribute Site content in bulk without our written permission;
  • scrape, crawl, or harvest the Site by automated means except as allowed by our robots.txt file, or use Site content to train machine-learning models without our written permission;
  • interfere with the Site’s security or operation, or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization;
  • use the Site to violate any law or the rights of others; or
  • misrepresent our content, including by presenting it as medical advice or as an endorsement of any product.

4. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, summaries, graphics, logos, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to bloodflowing.com and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “bloodflowing.com” and “The Circulation Research Digest” and the associated logo are our trademarks. Research papers we link to belong to their respective authors and publishers.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email team@herhearth.com with a description of the work, where it appears on the Site, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized. We will respond to valid notices.

5. Your submissions

If you send us messages, topic suggestions, or correction requests, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and adapt them to operate and improve the Site. Please don’t send confidential or personal health information. We are not obligated to use or respond to any submission.

6. Third-party links and content

The Site links to research papers, journals, and other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices, and a link does not mean we endorse the linked site or any product.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement. Research evolves, and we do not warrant that any content is current, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bloodflowing.com and its owners, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or reliance on the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless bloodflowing.com and its owners and contributors from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Baldwin County, Alabama, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at team@herhearth.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally.

11. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may update these Terms; the effective date above will show when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. General terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Medical Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of the Site.
